As part of the Technopark Kaisermatt, the home of rotors and stators, MTA Mechatronic AG is located in idyllic Densbüren near Aarau in Switzerland.
It is a contract manufacturer and specialises mainly in prototype, fixture and tool construction. Founded in 1985 by Walter Wernli in the converted family home under the name "Wernli-Elektro-Hydraulik Asp", the company formerly focused on toolmaking for valves and hydroelectric power plants. Increasing change came to the company in 2003 when it was taken over by Walter Windisch, Peter Troxler and Georg Senn and given its current name. The move from Asp to Densbüren and thus into spacious, bright and well accessible premises took place in 2012.
In the past few years, MTA Mechatronic AG has grown strongly and employs twelve people as well as two apprentices. As an important member within the fabric of the Technopark, the company works closely with local companies and impresses with both speed, quality and reliability in manufacturing.
In order to guarantee this, MTA Mechatronic AG relies on state-of-the-art machinery. This ranges from eroding machines for high-precision work to 4-axis lathes with driven tools for the complete machining of components to cylindrical and surface grinding machines. A locksmith's shop is also part of the diverse inventory. This was recently supplemented by a second 5-axis milling machine.

In the decision to select the clamping device with which they can machine workpieces of different sizes on a Mill E 700 U 5-axis machining centre from GF Mikron, MTA Mechatronic AG opted for the clamping device from GRESSEL. This clamping device fully meets the requirement that the desired clamping range can be set quickly and without major conversion.
After careful selection, MTA Mechatronic AG decided on the SC5X 5-axis clamping device from GRESSEL. The SC5X is convincing - it can be used flexibly and leaves nothing to be desired in 5-axis machining! In order to achieve maximum flexibility, they used a C2.0 centric clamping device in combination with a 3-fold gredoc console. With the new clamping devices, the company MTA Mechatronic can now machine their workpieces faster and satisfy their own customers.
